My presentation at Creative Clusters: developing the creative economy of Bristol

I will be speaking at this year’s Creative Clusters forum on Nov 12th, 4pm in London, an international policy forum for the cultural and creative industries. I will be talking about Watershed and South West Regional Development Agency’s ground-breaking plans for a creative industries endowment fund.
The presentation will be one of a range designed to show how culture and creativity is being harnessed for economic development around the world. Other speakers include Margaret Hodge, the UK’s Minister for Creative Industries; economic commentator, Will Hutton; Comedia’s Charles Landry (author of The Creative City), Jude Kelly, Artistic Director, Southbank Centre; and fashion designer Zandra Rhodes.
Stop press: There was a charming write up in Design Week, name-checking me next to Jude Kelly and Charles Landry (The fame! Oh for lazy journalism!). And also an interview with me in the less salubrious Exeter Echo talking about creative investment in South West England.
